Thomas Shaughnessy, CLTC

Growing up in New Hampshire with a father and three uncles in the financial services business, Tom was surrounded by planning, strategy, and legacy from an early age. That family tradition continues today,  both of Tom’s brothers are also successful financial advisors, making this profession a true family legacy.

Tom entered the business in 2000 and has been serving families and business owners for 25 years, helping them navigate life transitions, build wealth, and protect their legacies.

Tom first came to Tulsa in the mid-1990s to attend Oral Roberts University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and, more importantly, met his wife, Lisa. After graduation, he returned to New Hampshire to build his practice.

Nearly 20 years ago, Tom met Stephen Frank at a business event, and what began as professional respect grew into a long-standing friendship between their families. In 2017, Tom and his family moved to Tulsa to form a strategic partnership with Stephen, helping lead OND Financial Solutions into its next generation of growth, longevity, and legacy.

Tom is known as a strategist and tactician, designing income-focused plans that give clients confidence and clarity about their financial future. While many advisory firms center conversations around account balances, Tom focuses on how to turn assets into income, helping clients replace the paycheck they’ve earned their entire working lives, build sustainable income strategies in retirement, and leave a meaningful legacy. His expertise includes retirement income design, investment solutions, corporate retirement plans, executive benefits, business continuation strategies, and comprehensive financial planning.

Outside of the office, Tom is actively involved in his community. He serves on the Oral Roberts University Alumni Board, leads the Golden Club Athletic Board at ORU, volunteers at Church on the Move in Tulsa, and has previously served on the YMCA board.

When he’s not helping clients plan their financial futures, you can usually find Tom on a pickleball court (just ask anyone who knows him), on the golf course (even though the pickleball swing doesn’t help the golf swing), or spending time with Lisa, their kids, and close friends.
